Privacy

Redline is a free daily car-trivia game. You can play without an account. This page explains what we store and why.

On your device

Your browser keeps your progress, streak, stats, garage choice and sound setting in local storage. It also keeps a random device id, so the game can count one answer per player without an account. Clearing your browser data removes all of this.

On our servers

The leaderboard shows other players only as anonymous names such as "Driver 1234".

Visit statistics

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages people use and which sites send them. For each page view it records the page, the referring site, your approximate location (country and city), and your device type, operating system and browser. It sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: a visitor is recognised for 24 hours by a one-way hash of the request, then forgotten. We only see totals.

Cookies

Signing in sets cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies (visit statistics work without cookies). If we add ads, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Who processes data for us

Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting and visit statistics; its servers see your IP address when you load the site), our email provider (to send sign-in links), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). We don't sell your data.

Your choices

You can play as a guest and never give us an email address. You can delete your account at any time from the menu: Account, then Delete account. That removes your sign-in, email and saved drives from our servers at once; your past answers stay only as anonymous totals that no longer link to you. Stats saved on your device stay until you clear this site's data in your browser. For a copy of your data, or anything else, email our contact email (coming soon). We keep account data until you delete your account.

Children

Redline is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
